Mohair and Heartbreak
1960's popular! It’s been quite awhile since I last posted. I’ve been so busy with a Bible Study online that just ended last week. We studied the parables of Jesus, and there were many insights into how we have “dressed them up” for us - and in doing so, have often neglected what Jesus really meant by them. Great time with great friends!!! We will be delving into King David in the fall, a chosen man of God who led such a beautiful yet often times sinful life. If anyone r

POWER
I’m not a singer, instrument player, music composer, or record producer. But music has spoken - and will always will - speak to my soul. I believe it transforms our daily lives here on earth as well as prepares us for the eternity to come. I like all kinds of music from classical to traditional country, the oldies but goodies as well as the new streaming. One of my favorite artists is Josh Groban (an aside…he called me out in front of a packed arena as I accidently interrupte

AUNT HELEN
Sometimes my blogs are about me…but more often they are about other people (who, incidentally, I find much more fascinating than myself). Folks from my past…folks who have had a profound influence on my life. I call these the “Unforgettables”… and I certainly haven’t forgotten them. Helen is one such Unforgettable, and I am finally putting her story to print…maybe not in the book as I had promised her so long ago, but here today for my friends and family to still read her ama

GREETINGS!!!
Hello friends, family, soon-to-be friends, and maybe even soon-to-be-family (one never knows)! Welcome to my website and accompanying blog. I hope these posts will bring some insights into my life and the world around me, as I am certainly in the autumn of my life (and fast transitioning to the winter I'm thinking), and I realized I have a lot to share. Hopefully, they might bring even a little bit of joy into your lives as well, if only in a very small way - especially w
